YouNG work Experience
The YouNG project is the one stop shop for young people to be supported with finding a work experience. The YouNG team will support both the Business and the young person to ensure the process is as smooth as possible and a positive experience for all. We are seeking all businesses in both Rushcliffe and the city of Nottingham to work with us to provide opportunities to the next generation of our workforce across all sectors.
The YouNG Markets are a chance for local young entrepreneurs to showcase their talent in a real-life business environment where stallholders are able to sell a variety of handmade goods from food related products to clothing and technology. Whilst preparing for the markets, stallholders are responsible for all aspects of their business, they create their products themselves, organise all finances and marketing and manage stock and sell products on the day. The YouNG markets allows young people to gain work experience in a unique environment where they become hands on, experiencing real life market trade and developing the soft skills of a successful entrepreneur.
