Licensing Law Consultancy (LLC)

Walaiti Rathore was a partner in a law firm specialising in all aspects of licensing and gambling as well as licensing prosecutions and related regulatory matters before establishing Licensing Law Consultancy (LLC).

LLC is an innovative licensing service for the leisure and hospitality industry, providing cost effective specialist advice. It also provides access to around 1000 APLH Personal Licence courses in over 70 locations in England, Wales and Scotland throughout the year which can be booked online. LLC also provides access to online training courses including bespoke products.

Walaiti is an experienced advocate and represents applicants and premises licence holders at licensing sub – committee hearings across England and Wales and has dealt with all aspects of licensing appeals to the Magistrates’ Court.

He acts for independent, multiple and national operators and is experienced in advising sub-committees as well as acting as their advisor at hearings.

Walaiti has worked with the Home Office, delivering training to local and responsible authorities and he regularly speaks at national and regional conferences and licensing training events. He is also a BIIAB approved tutor to provide training to operators.

Walaiti is a regional officer for the East Midlands Region of the Institute of Licensing, a member of the Institute of Licensing Alcohol and Entertainment Panel and he is a regional Council member of the British Institute of Innkeeping. He is also a member of the Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers.

His work has resulted him in being invited to speak to politicians at an enquiry held at the House of Lords debating controversial local authority initiatives.
