Kerry is a former national TV journalist and one of the UK’s top broadcast PR experts who gets outstanding results, with 20 plus years’ experience of TV and radio news journalism, corporate communications and corporate PR for 22 FTSE 100/FTSE 250/NASDAQ/NYSE listed companies working with A-list sports stars, Members of Parliament, Lords, British royalty, CEO’s and directors, before launching her own corporate communications, broadcast PR and media training company in 2013 called Broadcast Ready. Companies Kerry has represented include Accenture, Microsoft, Cisco, The Walt Disney Company, Walt Disney Pictures, Miramax, Disney Pixar, Touchstone Pictures, Disney Channel, GlaxoSmithKline, Adidas, O2 plc, SJL Insurance Services, Schroders plc, JPMorgan Asset Management, TD Direct Investing, the National Lottery and fashion retailer NBrown. Kerry gets results that go beyond media exposure for her clients. She works on their annual strategy, carries out messaging workshops and media trains them to be broadcast-ready experts and thought leaders on television, radio, online and in print. She gained first-hand experience to do that as a TV journalist with the RTS Award winning shows at ITN ITV News and BBC TV News. She is a highly proficient media trainer and coaches all her clients prior to every broadcast interview they do. She understands the fine balance between giving the interviewer what they need and making sure her client can get their point across.

From her experience as a journalist, Kerry saw an opportunity to create the world’s first video-only database of verified broadcast-ready experts. The National Union of journalists (NUJ) endorsed the database as a ‘good resource for journalists’ and saw journalists from CNN, BBC, ITN, Sky and Bloomberg use the database to find interviewees that they have confidence in. by the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) Examples of her successes along the way include the campaign for Samsung’s sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympics, which achieved 7,000 articles and hundreds of broadcast pieces of coverage across the world. As part of this campaign Kerry directed David Beckham OBE on shoots in London and Los Angeles and Zara Phillips MBE on shoots in London. Kerry’s past achievements include directing all media relations and content for Samsung for a large press conference with Samsung Ambassadors David Beckham OBE and Zara Philips MBE, for the London 2012 Olympics. Managing a media team of 8 PR’s, 250 journalists and 26 UK and international TV news crews attended. Kerry can be hired by broadcast news programmes as an Expert Women broadcast news consultant. Kerry headed up the broadcast and media team for Samsung working with ambassadors David Beckham OBE and Zara Phillips MBE. She created PR strategies for Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button for GlaxoSmithKline, the England Rugby squad and Manchester United, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Chelsea Football Clubs.
Kerry has also worked with many individuals on their media strategy to reach their objectives including Gina Miller. Kerry has helped many of her clients achieve business success through the use of a broadcast strategy, most notably TD Direct Investing, which grew from £200 million Assets Under Management to over £1 billion / $1.3 billion Assets under Management in nine months after first incorporating broadcast into their media strategy. Kerry achieved 100 national and international TV and radio interviews for their then Chief Investment Officer, Michelle McGrade, as well as advising how to distribute the content on social media. Kerry was a key player in the launch of the campaign ‘Expert Women’ and actively works with journalists to put more women experts on the news. She has launched her own ‘Broadcast Ready Expert Women’ campaign, and the company’s work in this space is endorsed by UNESCO and is an official partner of the BBC 50:50 Project. Kerry was also invited to be a judge on UNESCO’s global initiative called ‘Women Make The News’. She is available as an expert in her own right for insight and comment on TV and radio.
