Echoing one of Barcelona’s best kept secrets, baresca’s menú del día mirrors the Spanish tradition of offering town locals and visitors fantastic quality and value. Just 9,95 for flatbread & dips, two tapas and a side, menú del día is served daily from noon. Tapas include pork bocatas, meatballs, fillet of hake, squid, smoked corn empanadillas and more.

baresca’s cellar bar evokes the best of barcelona’s hidden bodegas, offering live music three nights a week. On Thursday evenings, downstairs, you can enjoy great music alongside the superb value menu del dia which is served until 9pm. Happy Fridays kicks off at 5pm, there’s two for £7 on selected cocktails, draught beers and sangria until 7 with live music from 6. On Saturday, the vinyl crowd take over – the likes of soul buggin’s wrighty, elmo & ossie and the vinyl floor specialists spin the best tunes they can find from 9.30pm.
