Employer v Employee – Where does the power lie?

Employer v Employee – Where does the power lie?

With the rise of the profile of mental health in the workplace and various good practice guidance offered to employers, there is the challenge of “What about the mental health of the employer?”

The person that takes the risk setting up and running the business.  The person responsible for ensuring that the wage bill is met every month.

It seems that there is an ever-increasing burden on employers (think pension auto enrolment, holiday pay, National Living Wage, apprenticeship levy) but what is the protection for the employer?

This presentation explores whether there is a balance power - or not.
